This internationally recognised organisation certifies tools used in the electro industry. All Yato VDE tools are certified according to IEC 60900:2008 and each certified handtool has this number marked on it. This ensures that you can be certain that you are working with a safe product. Naturally it is never reccommended to work while there is any type of electric current present, and we advise you to make sure that your workplace is safe and all power is turned of before starting work, but with VDE certified products you are certainly safer.
